All housing indicators point to a continued strong spring in central Indiana. The May Monthly Indicators Report of BLC® listing service data released by MIBOR today shows that pending sales were up 9.1 in the three months ending in May while up 10.9 percent in May alone. Months supply of inventory was down 23 percent in May to land at 8.1 months. Closed sales were also strong with units sold up 15.8 percent for the three-month period ending in May and 18.6 percent in May alone.

Home prices continue to increase at a healthy pace. The Median sales price increased 6.1 percent to $129,500 for the three-month period and 6.0 percent in May. Average sales price followed with a three month increase of 6.9 percent to $160,109 and a 6.6 percent increase in May to $164,947.
